Mechanical & Plumbing scope for the 54,592 square foot School of Concrete that is cooled with (03) Trane Performance Climate Changer Air Handling units. These air handling units located in the penthouse are equipped with an intake plenum, return fan with back draft dampers, relief dampers and intake plenum, air blended filter section, IFB hot water preheat coil, chilled water-cooling coil, and supply fan with backdraft damper. The air handlers serve (47) VAV boxes that provide hot water reheat to the building spaces. Heated water is supplied by (02) Lochinvar Condensing Boilers and the chilled water is supplied by the campus’s central chiller plant.
