  • Mechanical and Plumbing BIM Coordinator
    Nashville, TN
    The Comfort Group Inc. is looking for a Mechanical and Plumbing BIM Coordinator for our Nashville location.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but are not limited to)
    • Work with engineers and managers to produce LOD400 BIM for mechanical and plumbing systems.
    • Work with General Contractor and other subcontractors to achieve spatial coordination of all trades.
    • Attend weekly coordination meetings, either onsite or virtually
    • Generate RFI s to be submitted to the design team
    • Create detailed shop drawings for the purposes of fabrication and installation of associated trades and export of drawings for use with the robotic total station.
    • Communicate with field personnel to ensure fabrication and installation intent is clear.
    • Mentor other BIM Coordinators with on-the-job training for the use of modelling and collaboration software, fabrication and installation drawings and documents.
    • Work with other team members to complete drawings and models as required to meet project schedules
    • Provide Input to management regarding hardware and software requirements.
    Education and Experience:
    • 3 or more years of experience with 3D modelling of mechanical or plumbing systems.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk CADMEP and Autodesk Navisworks
    • Knowledge of Autodesk Revit or any other BIM related software is a plus
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Plumbing Helpers – On the Job Training Offered
    Nashville, TN
    Job Description: The Comfort Group Inc. is looking for multiple full-time plumbing helpers for its Nashville, Tennessee location. No experience is required. This is a full-time position through which the applicant will be trained and advanced through a company provided training program. Responsibilities
    • The employee to show up on time and prepared for work each day (job times vary by site)
    • Abide by all relevant safety training
    • Study relevant materials related to plumbing
    • Progress through the helper tiered system achieving certain benchmarks to eventually progress to becoming a plumber
    • Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
    • Must be willing and able to follow all jobsite rules and regulations
    Qualifications/Requirements
    • 0 years of experience required
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Possess strong problem solving and communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Will include the potential for out of town and overnight travel.
